Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy



1. Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation:

• A minimum 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking.

• The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before departure.

• Incomplete payment may result in cancellation without a refund.

2. Accepted Payment Modes:

• Online (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, Payment Wallets)

• Offline (Cash at Office, Bank Transfer)

3. Important Notes:

• All prices are subject to change based on government regulations, taxes, or fuel surcharges.

• Chandrakor Tours is not responsible for payment failures or fraudulent transactions on the customer’s end.



2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans change, and we aim to offer a fair refund policy while balancing operational costs.

For Domestic Tours & Treks: Cancellation Period Refund Policy

More than 30 days before departure 75% refund (25% retained for processing & reservation costs)

15-30 days before departure 50% refund (50% retained as cancellation fee)

7-14 days before departure 25% refund (75% retained as cancellation fee)

Less than 7 days before departure No refund

• No-Show: If the traveler does not arrive on the departure date, no refund will be provided.

• Partial Attendance: If a traveler chooses to leave a trip mid-way, no partial refund will be issued.



For International Tours: Cancellation Period Refund Policy

More than 45 days before departure The booking amount is non-refundable; the remaining balance will be provided as a credit note.

30-45 days before departure 50% refund of the full tour cost; balance will be issued as a credit note.

15-30 days before departure 25% refund of the full tour cost; balance will be issued as a credit note.

Less than 15 days before departure No refund.

Airfare Cancellation Fees Charged separately as per airline policies.


Important Notes for International Trips:

• Refund policies vary based on destination and peak season dates. Please check before booking.

• A 5% GST will be applicable on the total cancellation amount.



For Weekend Treks & Camping (Sahyadri / Short Trips) : Cancellation Period Refund Policy

More than 20 days before departure Full refund (₹500 processing charge applicable)

10-20 days before departure 50% refund

Less than 10 days before departure No refund

No Show / Illness / Late Arrival No refund; participant may find a replacement.



3. Trip Modifications & External Factors

1. Itinerary Changes Due to Weather or Safety Concerns:

• In case of bad weather, roadblocks, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances, Chandrakor Tours reserves the right to alter the itinerary in the best interest of travelers.

• Refunds will not be provided in such cases, but alternative options will be offered.

2. Booking Transfer Policy:

• Bookings cannot be transferred to another person once confirmed.

• The name provided at the time of booking will be the only name allowed for travel.

3. If Chandrakor Tours Cancels a Trip:

• In case of natural disasters, government restrictions, or operational challenges, a 100% refund will be issued (excluding non-refundable expenses like train/flight tickets).

• If a tour is canceled due to low participation, customers will be offered either a reschedule or a full refund.



4. Special Conditions for Peak Season & Holiday Periods

1. Christmas, New Year, & Festival Season:

• No refunds for cancellations made within 15 days of departure during peak holiday periods.

• Flight/train cancellation policies will be applied separately.

2. COVID-19 & Medical Emergency Cancellations:

• Standard cancellation rules apply.

• If affected, you may find a replacement to avoid cancellation charges.
